10 things a grad student needs

I recently read this post from thought catalogue: Every 20-Something’s Wishlist

Here's my own version of what grad students need.

(1) not-so-expensive place to live drama-free, stress-free

(1) financial aid center that understands a grad student's needs 

(Infinity) professors who are objective and understand the world (or us students) doesn't revolve solely on their class

(2+) best friend who supports us, understands us, and loves us, even if it's from afar

(1) roommate who's considerate and you vice versa

(Endless) amount of coffee

(Infinity) amount of good books to read during vacations

(1+) professor who's our mentor, our role model, our guide

(1)  nice café to spend our time socializing, studying or just sitting around having a good cup of joe

(1+) job offers waiting for us at graduation
